Appearance: Eden didn't really blossom until she was in her late teens, and then she turned into a true knock out. She's got Spanish coloring, dark complexion, deep brown eyes and long black hair. She's short, only 5'4" in heels with a voluptuous figure.

Personality: Eden is exactly like the element she can almost become entirely. Fast, scorching, unpredictable, untamed. She's intense, but not an angry person. Yes, she does have a temper, but it isn't who she is. She doesn't have time for gritty-anger nonsense. She's over it. She's honestly not the type to hold a grudge, even if she's got reason. She likes to think she's more than her circumstances. She's cool that way.

Sometimes you see her as too cold and detached. And it's true enough. She's impulsive and impatient, never one to sugarcoat anything. Far from naive, she's streetwise and a little too down to earth. She could use some loosening up.

History: Caldera. That's all Eden knew of her parents growing up. She had nothing but a last name and a story told to her by a vicious foster mother. Her real mother was a crackhead who abandoned her. Her father was in jail for something or another. She didn't know. She learned early not to care.

She was in and out of foster homes, each one worse than the last. She was abused, beaten, pretty much every horror story you could think of when in the foster system. Every time that something bad would happen, her caseworker would just move her to another. It was when Eden was seven she started fighting back. When she discovered what she could do.

Eden's foster mother was drunk again and she was fighting with her foster brothers. They were always hassling her for something. She doesn't even remember what started it. But one day she just lost it and pushed her foster brother...and her hand caught on fire as she did. Afterward, it was chaos. The house was salvaged, and no one believed the boy when he said Eden started it. But she knew. She was quickly moved.

She learned to control her power better, but sometimes her temper would get the best of her. If anyone dared attack her, she fought back cognizant now. One of her foster fathers who tried to come into her room one night couldn't explain how the second he laid a hand on her, he got second degree burns. He was found screaming in her room and the wife sent her away, thankfully.

Eden just thought she was a leap. An abnormality in genetic mutation. She had read about that in school. She researched it and thought it was true. She wasn't an elemental. She'd never even heard the term before. She was just a genetic freak.

She had taken to petty crimes to get by, learning the trade on the street. She was sixteen when she was busted for trying to steal a car to get around, to school in. That changed her life.

Her lawyer worked pro-bono on her case. Michael Morgan knew there were troubled kids out there and Eden's story touched him. He gave her a job at the law firm so she didn't have to steal any more. Just running errands and copying, that sort of thing. He convinced her to stay with her foster parents and not run away, stay in school. He helped her get a scholarship to Loyola.

She was determined not to let him down, not to end up the same way as her parents. She enrolled in the pre-law program, wanting to help lost kids like her from inside the system. And she was good at it. Top of her class. She graduated with honors and Michael was sitting in the front row as she did.

Three days into her new job at a law firm in Chicago, she was served with papers by a social worker. Miles Armitage, whoever that was, was taking care of and adopting her- drumroll please- brother. Since she was next of kin, she was the one who could contest it. So she decided to go meet this wayward sibling and is currently on her way to Mysteria.

Flaws: Pride - It is one of the seven deadly sins right? She's used to making her own way, doing things for herself, doing a good job and she knows it. This pride can get Eden in a lot of trouble and has. She's so independent she's afraid to ask for help, so proud she'll never admit when she's done wrong.

Jaded - Eden's seen too much bad stuff. She doesn't believe in religion, she doesn't believe in anything really but looking out for yourself and yours. It's rare that she counts anyone among 'hers' so it's been just Eden.

Loner - Eden can count the people she actually calls 'friend' on one hand. And she doesn't even need her whole hand. She's never been one to develop attachments.

Merits: Underestimated/Unassuming - I mean, look at her. Really. No one ever expects a beautiful girl like that to be anything other than lovely. Eden's got so much more going for her than looks, but no one really thinks she's more than pretty face. She knows it, works it to her advantage.

Fast learner - Eden quick on her feet, never needing to be told how to do something twice. She's got iron concentration and a damn near eidetic memory. She can process information and come up with an answer for you so fast that it often surprised her old bosses.

High Pain Tolerance - This? This is nothing, keep going. It is if you ask Eden anyway. She doesn't know where she got it from, her mom or her dad, but if you hit her, you're likely to just piss her off enough to hit you back, not cause pain.
